Sarah graduated in 2001 from Concordia University, River Forest, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Sarah’s first call was to Prince of Peace, Martinsville, IN, where she taught 1st/2nd grade split as well as P.E.  for 1st- 5th grade for three years.  In 2004, Sarah received her Master’s degree in Special Education from Butler University.  She then accepted a call to Immanuel Lutheran School, Seymour, as Resource Teacher.  Sarah served as Resource Teacher for 11 years at Immanuel.  Sarah then left the classroom for a year and worked full time as Program Manager/Lead Tutor for Foundations Dyslexia and Learning Centers.  Sarah resides in Seymour, IN, with her husband Michael and three daughters, Addison, Gillian, and Haley.  Sarah enjoys reading, bike riding, and playing board games in her free time.
